To celebrate the holiday season, we invited our favourite fashion friends from across the region to immerse themselves in the cultural riches of Singapore. The experience blended culinary discovery, heritage exploration and vibrant style, giving our stylish guests a fresh perspective on the inspiration behind our Jewel store.

Our fashionable friends started the trip on a high note at Candlenut — the world’s first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant — where they were introduced to Straits-Chinese cuisine its contemporary yet authentic approach. The restaurant showcased refined dishes that maintained the essence and intricacies of traditional Peranakan food, which is elevated by creative innovations that reimagined classic flavours into something new and exciting.
During the trip, these trendsetting influencers also explored Peranakan heritage at Joo Chiat, one of Singapore’s most colourful neighbourhoods. After tasting handmade nonya treats, as well as trying on exquisite Peranakan dresses and jewellery, they acquired a deeper appreciation of this unique culture. Strolling along Joo Chiat’s vibrant streets, our guests captured street-style shots that feature the architectural gems in this historical area.
